BEAUTY INSPIRATION: ASHLEY MADEKWE

The RADA-trained English actress, Ashley Madekwe is currently one of the stars of the acclaimed American television series, Revenge. That’s not all – she blogs regularly about her career and stylish wardrobe.

In this picture, she shows off a fresh-faced look* that requires very light makeup and is easy to recreate.

The basic ingredient here is smooth,  blemish-free skin. To get that, I recommend Avon Solutions Banishing Cream.

Next, dust your face with Milani Press Powder (there are 8 different shades for different skin tones).

Line your upper eyelids with Maybelline Line Express Eyeliner in Ebony Black, making sure to end your tracing with a flick.

If you are dark-skinned, use a purple colour like Bourjois Khol & Contour Eyeliner Pencil in 06 Violet Artiste instead because black can be overpowering.

A coat of  L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black opens up your eyes and complements the eyeliner.

To get soft nude lips, apply Revlon MoistureStay Lip Color in 13 Violet.

Add a smattering of L’Oreal Bare Naturale Mineral Blush in Bare Honey to cheeks and chin for a sun-kissed glow.

For that wow factor, paint your fingernails with an eye-catching red tint like Pure Ice in Crimson and you are good to go enjoy a beautiful life.
